Passover 2020, Day 1

On the first day of Passover Rabbi Perlman will deliver a derasha continuing on the theme from Shabbat Hagadol (4/4) of the various ways the Rabbis divided the plagues in the Tradition.
Each division teaches a different lesson on the purpose of the ten plagues (ten strikes in Hebrew). We will cover the opinion of Rabbi Nehemiah which understands the plagues as five pairs and a midrash that divides the plagues in two (10 commandments-style): five and five. How do the ten plagues serve as a teaching moment at the seder?
